Ionian Mass Recording

Ionian Mass is a joyful celebration of science and the natural world in five movements. It is scored for mixed voice choir and piano and lasts 20 minutes.

On November 3rd 2018 the work will be recorded by The Vaughan Williams Singers, conducted by the composer, and all choral singers are invited to join in with this exciting project. Sign up by emailing

Note to singers: You will need to work on your part beforehand as there will be limited rehearsal time on the day.

Venue: St Mary and St Nicholas Church, Church Road, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 8BD

Date: Saturday November 3rd 2018 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Fee: The participation fee is £25, to include a copy of the score, practice files, a copy of the recording, tea/coffee and a light lunch.

Parking: Church Rd car park, immediately behind the venue, has 48 spaces, and there are a few on-street spaces in Church Rd. The alternative is Station Road car park (KT22 7AB) which is about 10 minutes walk away. More info...
