Sumer is Icumen In

Voicing: SATB or TTBB and piano

Duration: 1'38"

Retaining all the exuberant energy of the original mediaeval English round, this arrangement introduces variety by slowly building up the layers of the round - unison at first, then in 2 parts and finally in 4. Some extra cuckoos and a final chorus of animals completes this enjoyable setting. A discreetly rocking piano part supports the voices, making this an ideal arrangement for less confident choirs, as well as more experienced groups.
